MAJOR ACTIVITIES. Basically Dibrugarh Stores depot is entrusted with stock keeping of materials regularly required for POH and ROH of Passenger coaches at Dibrugarh C&W Workshop, materials required for ROH of BCN wagons at TSK and other materials regularly required in the Railway system. Dibrugarh stores Depot has to ensure provisioning and supply chain for Safety, Operation, Maintenance, Passenger amenity and cleanliness in the Railway system, within its jurisdiction. Another Major activity of Dibrugarh stores depot is to contribute towards housekeeping by scrap management. Moreover, handling crisis/emergency situation, by Unit level purchase, is an important activity of the stores depot.  
LOOKING FORWARD: We are looking forward for total logistic solution with a Modern Warehouse with modern material handling equipments. Action have already initiated in improving infrastructure & systematic improvement of depot by Improvement in proper storage and security of materials. |
